Timeshare Charity creates controversial national monument for children in Lebanon Time4sharing.com, a charitable movement made up of timeshare professionals around the world who predominantly work for Platinum International, have won a victory for children in the war torn lands of Lebanon today, finally gaining government approval for their controversial national monument. The project, envisioned by founder Viviane Boulos-Tolan, is to create a national monument to all underprivileged children of the nation, controversial in Lebanon due to the 18 separate religious factions, all claiming primary priority in the pecking order of importance. “A simple gesture of peace and unity requires more than good will, it takes political will, it takes negotiating with members of various religious groups and their peer groups and their leaders. In the end , it could take years. In fact, many of the various disputes which caused so many children to become orphans were over unresolved religious issues, it’s a hotbed of controversy even today.” She added. “The mission of Time4sharing.com is to create opportunities whereby children can experience the freedom of laughter and pleasure of enjoyment, if only for a day, through the creation of fun days. In the country of Lebanon, religion holds rank and remains somewhat a barrier to unity of the nation. The magic is the power that children have, their ability to interact without prejudice, their desire and commonality to have fun,” explained Boulos-Tolan. Therefore, where the politicians cannot all agree, the children will, because they have precisely the hearts of children, untainted by opinions and principles, and therefore they are the catalyst for changing minds through uniting hearts. “It is amazing opportunity for us, Time4sharing.com to commission one of the finest sculptors in the nation and have the backing of the Minister of Culture to erect this national monument on the grounds of United Nations(UNESCO) Palace in Beirut. Its commercial company and principle financial contributor, Platinum International, recently together with Time4sharing.com launched the campaign for 2004 entitled “United Hearts for Children that Matter”, marking its tenth Anniversary as a prominent Timeshare Developer.
