Seef fun makes children's Eid colourful

Over 30 children from the Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation, the Amal Institute and the Mother and Child Care Association were treated yesterday to an afternoon of fun and games at the Seef Mall's overwhelmingly popular Magic Island.
The event was organised by Time4sharing.com to mark the Eid Al Fitr celebrations.
Time4sharing.com, a world wide charity movement founded by Viviane Tolan, a major shareholder of Platinum International, has, over the past year, hosted a number of similar activities for under privileged children - including a trip to the Hawar Islands in June. Ten Time4sharing.com volunteers, professionals in the time share industry, accompanied the children.
"We organised this event as Eid Al Fitr treat for the children," said Platinum vice-president, Bassam Nakad.
"Everyone volunteered to help make an unforgettable difference - to make the children cheer, play and live the spirit of Eid with every joyous moment," he said.
Nakad and the Magic Island assistant operations manager, Rashid Daleem greeted the children upon arrival and distributed caps.
Mohammed Al Matrook, the National Director of the Special Olympics at the Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation, praised the ongoing efforts of Time4sharing.com and thei commitment to volunteer work.
"The visit to the Magic Island, provides the children with an opportunity to go out and have some fun, meet new friends and mingle with other people," said Al Matrook.
"We have held a number of such events with Time4sharing.com in the past and their moral and financial support has been very encouraging," he said.
"Since its inception just over one year ago, Time4sharing.com has organised 21 events and empowered over 2650 orphan children from over six countries," said Nakad.
"Timeshare professionals, members of the Globale Sales Organization (GSO), have volunteered to organise a spectacular event which will be the first Time4sharing.com event in the Far East, to be followed by several other events planned for the upcomming year," he said.
"It is through expansion in new markets and uplifting the level of awarness to actually dedicate time to bring fun and joy to those who deserve it, that Time4sharing.com mission can be fulfilled," said Nakad.

Time4sharing.com brings joy to Hope children      May, 20 2001

Around 220 children from the Hope Institute were yesterday treated to a day of fun at the Dolphin Park and in Sanad by the Time4sharing.com, an international charitable movement involved in the cause of sharing time and joy with underprivileged children.
the children were also treated with delight by 'Boomerang the Happy Kangaroo', the official mascot of Time4sharing.com who debuted yesterday.
"Upon arriving (at the park), the children were all very happy and welcomed Boomerang with open arms," said Alyah Rafeh, coordinator of the event. The goodwill event was joined in by some 50 volunteers from the Platinum International of Bahrain and Beirut, and several members of the Global Sales Organisation (GSO), other Bahrain organisations and staff from the Hope Institute.
Yesterday's event included exciting fun and games for the children such as a special lunch sponsored by the Burger King in Sanad. Children were also provided with colouring sketches of Boomerang and they were able to colour in the slogan 'Hawar is Bahraini' which will be auctioned off at the fundraising charity event to be set at a later date under the patronage of Shaikha Sabika Al Khalifa.
Time4sharing.com makes its second tour with 'Bus of Goodwill' in Bahrain after holding similar event months earlier. The charitable organisation, which focuses more on sharing time aside from money and resources, has held similar events in the Czech Republic and in Lebanon.
"Time4sharing.com works globally with the sole purpose of enhancing the lives of less fortunate children and helping them to discover their dreams, by providing them with one of life's most sought after commodities - our time," said Jackie Morais, marketing coordinator of Platinum International.
"It was heart-warming to see all the children truly enjoy themselves and there were plenty of smiles and laughter from our dedicated volunteers as well," he said.
The event was capped with Boomerang presenting the children with certificates and medals on behalf of Time4sharing.com.
Time4sharing.com was founded by Viviane Boulos-Tolan, a major shareholder of Platinum International in November 2000. Aside from Bahrain, Time4sharing.com is set to hold events in the US and Thailand.
The first event held by Time4sharing.com was in Prague and involved young orphans adopting baby Kangaroo. Since the charitable movement began, it has helped to place a smile on the faces of hundreds of children around the world. Time4sharing.com will be involved in another event due to take place in Bahrain on May 31 - a fun-filled day of activity for 400 children from the special Olympics Society along with 200 volunteers from various different organisations.
Fun-filled day for children at Hawar   March 5 , 2001

EIGHTEEN young Bahraini children from the Childcare Home in Gudhabiya were treated to a full day of fun and games in Hawar, writes Taimour Raouf.
The day-long trip marked the first such activity to be organised by Time4sharing Bahrain. The children accompanied by an appropriately large number of adult volunteers, set out early Friday morning to the Hawar Islands and returned later in the evening. The Hawar Resort and Rediscover Bahrain had sponsored the event while a local toy store in Gudaibiya donated toys for the children.
Time4sharing is an energy-raising and action-making movement established in Beirut last year. It is spearheaded by the market leaders in the timeshare industry around the Gulf and Middle East, Platinum International.
Timeshare, has created enjoyment and leisure benefits for the fortunate for many years and has over 75,000 professions around the world who actively promote and manage timeshare properties. Today, more than five million families use timeshare as their vacation solution to re-energise their lives and those of their loved ones. Time4sharing is more than just another charity organisation-and the children of the Childcare Home were the first group in Bahrain to discover the goodwill of the Time4sharing team.
