The Lebanese Charity Movement  July 23,  2001

Time4sharing.com, the worldwide charitable movement founded by Lebanese entrepreneur, Viviane Boulos-Tolan, major shareholder of Platinum International, entered the Guinness Book of World Records in Central Europe. The Charity created the longest human bridge in Prague, involving 812 orphans from all over the Czech Republic.

Time4sharing.com was established in November 2000. It organizes fun events for underprivileged children worldwide. On Friday the 1st of June, it organized a spectacular festival for children in a sports stadium in Prague, complete with famous rock bands, concerts, competitions and games for over 47 orphanages in the Czech Republic.

Volunteers from Beirut arrived to join efforts with 60 other Time4sharing.com volunteers from the Czech Republic, Germany, Malta and the United Kingdom.

Earlier this year, Platinum was responsible for creating and sponsoring the Czech-Lebanese friendship week, and presented a Lebanese cedar tree to the Deputy-Foreign Minister as a gesture of friendship between the two nations. Czech journalists were taken on a seven-day tour of the New Lebanon to "Rediscover Lebanon" and meet with many ministers and officials.

Commenting on the success of the day, Vivian Boulos-Tolan remarked "in our industry of timesharing, we provide luxury, enjoyment and fun vacation experiences to our clients. We now take these values to kids who could only dream of realizing a fantasy day of luxury and fun, and raise awareness to create opportunities for like minded people to share their time, if only for a day. It's a great feeling", she added.

The Bus of Goodwill had taken more than 15 volunteers from Time4sharing.com to Baskinta, Lebanon, to greet 30 children from the Besançon orphanage. On the descent to Fouad Chehab Stadium, the children sand songs and planned their game strategy for the football game with the Racing Team of Jounieh.

Time4sharing.com successfully planned its fourth event in Lebanon. This international charitable movement has been spreading its wings to Bahrain, the Czech republic, and soon to be in Thailand and the United States. This philanthropic movement founded by Lebanese entrepreneur, Vivian Boulos-Tolan, aims at donating time to the underprivileged children of our communities.
