Time4Sharing.com, the worldwide web based charitable movement, founded by Lebanese Entrepreneur, Mrs. Viviane Boulos Tolan, Major shareholder of Platinum International, organized a carnival for the less fortunate children at the V Rohliku Restaurant, Czech Republic.

The carnival hosted 35 children from four different Orphanages in the Czech Republic, as well as fairy tale characters like Kings, Princesses, Elves, Magicians, Cats and Dogs. It was a joyous environment that brought fairy tale dreams of the children present, to a reality that they hoped was never ending.

" We have all been children and have had our different dreams, One of my dreams was to live in a fairy tale" commented Carmen Lazar, Charity coordinator in the Czech Republic. " These children have witnessed their dreams today." She added.

To add to the success of the event and organization, 30 Time4Sharing.com devoted volunteers, professionals in the Time-Share industry, teamed up to offer a spectacular evening of magic, music and entertainment.

Among the fairy tale celebrities of the evening was Clown Lulu, who proved to be the trade mark for laughter. "It did not matter how old you were, If you saw Lulu, you just had to laugh" commented Diana Drakulokuva, President for Time4Sharing.com Czech Republic.

During the carnival, a new version of "Kocor Bota", a traditional play that is very renowned in the Czech Republic, was shown. It starred elf puppets and amused everybody with its neo-theatrical theme.

Following the theater came the karaoke competition. Among the winners were characters like Mr. Frog, who got the award for best singer in the duet. It was a lively display of young singing talent.

To end the evening with utmost satisfaction, the children were treated to sweets and toys to take away.

This event was broadcasted by national T.V. to create awareness nationwide.

Time4sharing.com, the worldwide web-based timeshare charitable movement that creates magical days for less fortunate children, is pleased to announce the winner of the "Imagine a Great Day for Kids" competition.

Contestants were asked to submit their ideas to the charity, which would generate interest in Resort companies around the world to sponsor a fun day to empower less fortunate children in their own communities.

The winner was to receive a $1000.00 donation, made out on their behalf, to the Christel House charity.

The contest was developed by the founders of Time4sharing.com to bridge an alliance with marketing persons around the world and to send a clear message that the two charities can and will work together in the future. Time4sharing.com only accepts donations of "Time", not outside money, from its army of timeshare professionals who volunteer their free and valuable time for kids for a day.

Timeshare professionals simply register themselves on the web site and become tied to one of the strongest community movements in the industry's three-decade history.

Submissions were received from Brazil, Malta, Germany, U.K., Singapore, Bali, Africa, to name just a few, including entries from members of the GSO (Global Sales Organization) and the newly formed IATP (International Association of Timeshare Professionals)

Winning Idea! "K.I.S.S." Find a local "woodsy" area - park, local nature walk, etc., and go on a scavenger hunt. Prior to the walk make out a list of things to see on your walk, i.e., chipmunks, Fir Tree, Cedar Tree, different types of flowers, rocks, ducks, geese - whatever you might find, you really should scope it out first - and provide "prizes" for who found what or how many but make sure everyone gets a prize, even if all they found was dirt. :) Then, stop at an ice cream parlor and discuss what they found and how it affects our environment and how we can protect it - what they can personally do to protect that little piece of environment. The committee of events coordination received all of the entries and selected the winning entry based on its thoughtfulness and sensitivity to children's needs.

Sally Jo McKean, a Timeshare Legal Consultant from SoJo Enterprises of Seattle, Washington, won the "Imagine a Magic Day for Kids" competition!

"It was a tough choice to just pick one winner but Sally Jo McKean stood out from the rest of the contestants as her ideas not only included the values of timeshare such as fun, luxury and excitement but they also offered an educational value", commented Time4sharing.com founder Vivian Boulos- Tolan

Time4sharing.com will donate $1,000 in Sally Jo McKean's name in honor of her creative idea! Ms. McKean is being awarded one year's worth of advertising on The Timeshare Beat, compliments of President and CEO Rod Hackman.

Ms. McKean will also be receiving the official Time4sharing.com honorary badge and volunteer's cap! Her idea not only works well, but also proves how easily and economically other resort companies around the world could sponsor a day at virtually no cost to them at all. "Sponsored Events in communities where timeshare companies operate will raise awareness that orphaned kids are people too, love to have fun, and who to better promote it than the fun merchants who sell and market Timeshare. We have had the pleasure of empowering over 2,500 children since our inception only last year," added Miss Rafeh.

Time 4 Sharing.com Valentine Charity Ball A Success - Feb 16, 2001

LEBANON -- Over 20 Time4sharing volunteers were present Saturday, December 23, 2000 to spend the day with the orphan children of the SOS Village in Kfarhay. This 2nd Time4sharing event in Lebanon welcomed all volunteers including the staff of Platinum Resorts International. The volunteers were more than happy to spend their second event in Lebanon with the SOS children of Kfarhay as they are located in a remote area about 20 km above Batroun. These underprivileged children were greeted with Santa hats and sweatshirts and loaded the "Bus of Goodwill" in eager anticipation to fun filled day of activities, marionette shows, and an appearance from St. Nick himself!

The children were treated to a lunch at Fun Time Pizza where the 25 volunteers had to work hard to make sure that the 30 children ate their pizza before playing the arcades. Once lunch was over, the children then rushed to the many games and arcade machines and played until the Time4sharing group was invited to the center stage. The children sang songs and danced with the Time4sharing volunteers as they waited for the marionette show to begin. Once the show was over, the children then lined up to load the "Bus of Goodwill" once again, to meet Santa Clause at the Sun City Resort in Ajaltoun.

What a treat for all spectators as Santa Claus lowered himself from the atrium above the indoor swimming pool onto a boat in the middle of the pool. One of the Time4sharing volunteers, Bassam Nakad, said, "Almost halfway down the rope Santa Claus stopped and you could hear the joyous cheer and applause ascending from all the kids saying 'Santa please come down.' As Santa continued down you could see the expression of relief on their faces." The performance was encored and Santa made his decent once again before handing out presents to each and every child.

"Quite frankly I haven't felt like a kid in a long time and that was the exact feeling I had!" Nakad exclaimed.

Exhausted and content the children were taken back home to the orphanage after a long day of food, entertainment, games and presents. Alyah Rafeh, events coordinator for Time4sharing, said, "We are very pleased with the progress of our movement here in Lebanon and we are looking forward to the next event, which will take place very soon!"
