| "The international charitable movement" founded by the Lebanese entrepreneur enters Guinness Book of Records for creating the longest human bridge. | |
The international charitable movement founded by Lebanese entrepreneur, Viviane Boulos-Tolan, broke the world records in Central Europe. The Charity created the longest human bridge in Prague, involving 812 orphans from all over the Czech Republic. Time4sharing.com was established in November 2000; it organizes fun events for underprivileged children worldwide. Last Friday, it organized a children's festival in a sports stadium in Prague, with famous rock bands, entertainers and games for over 47 orphanages in the Czech Republic. Volunteers from Beirut arrived to join the 60 volunteers of the movement from the Czech republic, Germany, Malta and the United Kingdom. Time4sharing.com was involved in the Special Olympics that took place in Bahrain on the 31st of May. They collaborated with the Special Olympics Committee to organize a sports day for over 3000 mentally challenged and disabled children from various institutions in Bahrain. The same week, Boomerang the kangaroo, the foundation's mascot, arrived at Beirut as time4sharing.com held an event for dozens of orphans from Baskinta. The children were given the opportunity to take part in the training of the football Racing Club Team of Jounieh. Mrs. Tolan calls on all serious timeshare professionals around the world to get involved in their own communities and organize fun days for less fortunate children. "We are a fun raising movement" added Mrs. Tolan. " We are always on the look for new ideas and welcome any new suggestions on how we can help empower the underprivileged children; we are searching for new volunteers in Lebanon to further our work". |
